Metode/metodologii pentru identificarea stucturala, confirmare chimica si cuantificare analitica a contaminantilor emergenti antropici in diverse componente de mediu in conformitate cu noile directive europene de mediu – ECOTRANS

Scurta descriere: Obiectivul principal al proiectului este investigarea prezentei poluantilor emergenti antropici la nivelul statiilor de epurarea si transferul acestora catre ecosistemele de apa dulce (emisari naturali, surse subterane, fluviul Dunarea), utilizate ca sursa de apa bruta pentru producerea apei potabile. Astfel, proiectul ECOTRANS va urmari prezenta a 5 clase majore de poluanti emergenti antropici, si anume perturbatori endocrini (acizi perfluoroalchil sulfonici PFAS), farmaceutice (fungicide azolice), microplastice, specii de metale toxice (arsenit, arsenat, metilHg, cromat) si subprodusi toxici rezultati in procesele de potabilizare a apei (acizi iodo-haloacetici, iodo-trihalometani si haloacetaldehide), care  vor fi solicitati pentru monitorizare prin Directiva Cadru Apa UE 2020/2184 incepand din 2024 sau sunt recent introdusi in „Watch List”-ul Uniunii Europene in vederea monitorizarii. Finalizarea proiectului va conduce la obtinerea a 14 metode analitice cantitative sensibile si validate pentru determinarea unor compusi emergenti in probe de apa si probe solide de mediu, rezultand tot atatea servicii de mediu oferite operatorilor economici din tara; o metoda semicantitativa pentru identificarea microplasticelor; un model experimental pentru noi senzori electrochimici pe baza de carbon pentru detectie on-site a PFAS; un model experimental de degradare electrochimica pentru PFAS utilizand electrozi modificati realizati in cadrul proiectului; 9 studii de transfer al contaminantilor intre compartimentele de mediu.

Faza 1/2023

Elaborarea unor metodologii analitice noi pentru detectia si cuantificarea la nivel de ultra-urme a unor poluanti din categoria unor reziduuri farmaceutice, a unor specii de metale toxice si produsi rezultati din procesul de clorinare a ape:

  • Metodă cantitativă de determinare a speciilor de As (As (III), DMA, MMA si As (V)) din diverse matrici apă (apă potabila, apă de suprafață și apă subterană) utilizand tehnica HPLC-ICP-MS;
  • Metodă cantitativă pentru detecția contaminanților azolici de tip triazoli și imidazoli (clotrimazol, imazalil, ipconazol metconazol, penconazol, procloraz, tebuconazol, tetraconazol, climbazole, epoxiconazol) din matrici de apă utilizând tehnica SPE-LC-MS/MS;

Metoda cantitativă de determinare a acizilor iodo-haloacetici din ape supuse potabilizării utilizând tehnica SPME-GC-MS/MS.

Faza 2/2023

Dezvoltarea, testarea si validarea unor metodologii analitice pentru controlul unor poluanti toxici de tipul compusilor perfluorosulfonici aplicabile unor matrici apoase:

  • Metoda cantitativa de determinare a acizilor perfluoroalchil sulfonici din diverse matrici apa (apa potabila, apa de suprafata si apa uzata) utilizand tehnica LC-MS/MS;
  • Model experimental de noi senzori pentru detectia acidul perfluorooctanoic (PFOA) de tip CNT-GO-MIP, CNT-GRQD-MIP, CNF-MIP.

Faza 3/2024

Elaborarea unor metodologii analitice noi pentru controlul unor poluanti toxici de tipul microplasticelor, compusilor perfluorosulfonici, iodo-trihalometanici, respectiv a unor specii metalice aplicabile unor matrici apoase:

  • Metoda cantitativa pentru determinarea poluantilor emergenti persistenti de tipul acizilor perfluoroalchil sulfonici din matrici apoase utilizand metode electrochimice;
  • Metoda cantitativa pentru detectia si cuantificarea speciilor de Cr din diverse matrici de apa (potabila, apa de suprafata si apa subterana) utilizand tehnica HPLC-ICP-MS;
  • Metoda cantitativa pentru cuantificarea compusilor iodo-trihalometanilor din  ape supuse potabilizarii.

Faza 3/II/2024

Elaborarea unor metodologii analitice noi pentru controlul unor poluanti toxici de tipul microplasticelor, compusilor perfluorosulfonici, iodo-trihalometanici, respectiv a unor specii metalice aplicabile unor matrici apoase:

  • Metoda calitativa pentru identificarea unor polimeri existenti in microplasticele prezente in diferite matrici de apa;
  • Metoda cantitativa pentru detectia si cuantificarea speciilor de Hg din diverse matrici de apa (potabila, apa de suprafata si apa subterana) utilizand tehnica HPLC-ICP-MS.

Faza 4/2024

Studii de validare a unor metodologii analitice noi pentru cuantificarea unor poluanti persistenti cu potential toxic din namol deshidratat (PFAS, fungicide azolice):

  • Metoda cantitativa pentru detectia unor poluanti organici neconventionali de tipul acizilor perfluoroalchil sulfonici in namolul deshidratat al statiilor de epurare.

Studii de validare a unor metodologii analitice noi pentru cuantificarea unor poluanti persistenti cu potential toxic din namol deshidratat (PFAS, fungicide azolice):
