The imperative of INCD ECOIND: “Leader on the Romanian environmental research and services market”

INCD ECOIND must maintain its position, through quality and performance, among the top organizations operating in the field of environmental protection research and services, gaining and retaining the trust of both new and traditional internal and external clients and collaborators by:

  • Continuously improving the effectiveness of the integrated management system implemented according to the standards SR EN ISO 9001:2015, SR EN ISO 14001:2015, SR 13572:2016, and SR ISO 45001:2018;
  • Permanent development of the internal/managerial control system implemented according to O 600/2018;
  • Continuous improvement of the quality of testing, research work, and services related to pollution control, pollution assessment, and environmental technologies;
  • Initiating and developing new research fields and enhancing existing ones to promptly, efficiently, and effectively respond to market demands and requirements;
  • Professional development and continuous training of personnel to ensure adequate qualifications and experience in the research field and the types of tests performed, fostering innovation, conscious and responsible involvement, and excellence in research and services;
  • Achieving specific objectives set at the beginning of each year;
  • Ensuring appropriate circulation of information and decisions within the organization and an effective communication system for all aspects of the management system.

The testing laboratories at INCD ECOIND will affirm and maintain their position, through QUALITY and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, among the top environmental testing activities by:

  • Maintaining RENAR accreditation and extending the scope of testing aligned with the SR EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 reference standard requirements;
  • Good professional practice and quality of services delivered by all personnel through application of testing standards/methods, provision of state-of-the-art equipment, and use of appropriate methods to assure the quality of results;
  • Meeting customer requirements and complying with applicable legal regulations, authority requirements, and accreditation/certification bodies.

Actions will be taken to:

  • Ensure the activity of personnel respects human dignity and avoids any discrimination that could affect testing quality;
  • Guarantee confidentiality of client results, including electronic storage and transmission of test results;
  • Avoid involvement in activities that may affect trust in competence, impartiality, operational integrity, and staff judgment;
  • Identify quality problems and initiate corrective actions to maintain system adequacy with the requirements of the reference standards.

The Heads of TESTING LABORATORIES and those RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENT (RCM) are delegated to maintain and improve the management system, maintain testing accreditation, extend the accredited scope as needed, and apply the requirements of the management system documents.

Working according to the most demanding quality, environmental, innovation, health, and occupational safety requirements becomes, from an ideal, a daily practice. Maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and RENAR accreditation contributes to associating the institution’s name with excellence and guarantees the best results in environmental research and services.

As General Director, I assume full responsibility for ensuring the material and human resources necessary to achieve the above objectives, continuously improving the integrated management system to enhance performance, preventing pollution, occupational injuries, and illnesses, and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and other applicable requirements.
