8th grade students, coordinated by science professor Andreia Petcu, visited the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology – Ecoind, during Science Week. On this occasion, they learned how to promote and capitalize on research results through creative and commercial actions, supporting the entrepreneurial spirit. Students learned details about the journey from idea to scientific research and observed how to carry out a series of physico-chemical and toxicological determinations.
They were delighted to discover the olfactometry laboratory, and at the end of the meeting they interviewed Dr. Lucian-Alexandru Constantin, head of the Department of Environmental Technologies and Technological Transfer within INCD Ecoind.
